And here we go, with a glossary of terms for those of you not as familiar with our group as you possibly could be. Terms are in, hopefully, alphabetical order.

Any foam flinger, whether homemade or bought in a box. This is to avoid the No-No term of "Gun". Similarly, we prefer to terms "rounds" and "darts" to "bullets" which we have seen in many places.

A live action role-playing game (LARP) is a form of role-playing game where the participants physically act out their characters' actions. The players pursue goals within a fictional setting represented by the real world, while interacting with each other in character. The outcome of player actions may be mediated by game rules, or determined by consensus among players. Event arrangers called gamemasters decide the setting and rules to be used and facilitate play. There are several varieties, ranging from No Contact such as Minds Eye Theater (Vampire) to Full Combat, similar to NERO.

Nerf Internet Community. That'd be Us.

Opposed to Tacti-cool. Any accessory that serves a functional purpose. The Raider stock and drum mags, for example.

Any accessory that serves a more aesthetic purpose than a functional one. Most NERF scopes and many other accessories fall in this category

Also Tacti-nerd, Tacti-dork, etc. That'd also be Us. Usually used derisivly by "Elite" airsofters and paintballers, dispite the fact that they play with toys too.

(1) Any Flywheel Powered blaster.
(2) A revolver style pistol
